| The State Government
is committed to provide the facility of single
window clearance to ensure that entrepreneurs
do not have to visit different government offices
to obtain the required clearances for setting
up industrial units in the State.
For this purpose
the State Government has constituted an Empowered
Committee consisting of Secretaries Incharge
of Departments of Finance, Industries, Agriculture
and Managing Director, Gujarat Agro Industries
Corporation Ltd. with a view to provide Single
Window Clearance to Agriculture and Food Processing
Industry. The Committee will also take such measures
and decisions as required for proactively promoting
the development of Agro Industries in the State.
In view of the thrust required to this sector,
the Committee is chaired by Chief Secretary and
also include Industries Commissioner as a member.
The Committee will
take appropriate decisions to effect , special
assistance from Gujarat Government, if required,
to attract large scale investments in this sector.
The decisions of
the Committee shall be final and no further approval
will be necessary. |
