Presently acting as a facilitator in Agro Industrial Development of the State on behest and behalf of the Gujarat State Government, it is continuing essential activities benefiting the farmers.
GAIC is also acting as a catalyst for promoting agro industrial development in Gujarat, by identifying crucial avenues, cutting edge technologies and setting up agriculture infrastructures projects. It provides an all-round package of services, in a manner
that has remained unmatched, which has put itself among the forefront of major Agro Industries Development Corporations in the country. Giving support by way of providing inputs to farmers and finding processors/exporters for profitable markets for their product
have always been GAIC’s objectives.
GAIC provides employment opportunities to un-employed technicians / agricultural graduates of farming community .
GAIC has a strong Rural Marketing network for distribution of Pesticides, Fertilizers and implements etc. |

GAIC acts as a Nodal Agency of Directorate of Agriculture, for disbursing subsidies to the farmers, under its own schemes. For details of subsidy schemes of Directorate of Agriculture log on to

GAIC also implements Bio-gas Programme through its field officers, SEBGS (Self-employed Bio Gas Supervisors) and Non Government Organizations. Their overall scope of work includes selection of beneficiaries, supervision, installation and commissioning of
the plant and providing after-sales services up to 3 years.
GAIC is also acting as a Nodal Agency for Government of Gujarat, to implement Agro Industrial Policy, for promoting the development of agro industry and agro based products in the Gujarat State. This policy helps in promoting one of the vital initiatives taken
